Who I AM

Diviner and energy worker

I'm Helen, pleased to meet you.

I'm a long time Meditator and Energy Healer and an even longer Tarot Reader. I bought my first deck when I was 14, my beloved Mythic Tarot, which I still have 40 years later. Tarot sparked my absolute love of symbolism, which is my other language, and everything is a sign. Symbolism led to energy which joyfully took me down the healing path. Energy healing takes many forms but they all have similarities in that the healer is a channel through which the  healing energy flows.

reiki

Reiki is a form of energy healing. It takes many forms but I follow the Usui method developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 1800's.

Reiki is a powerful method of natural healing which makes use of universal energy. It is safe and non invasive and can be practiced hands on or off depending on the clients preference.

Rei means the universal spirit and Ki (Chi) is the personal life force or energy so Reiki means The Universal Life Force or Energy.

Reiki is a holistic therapy. It works on the whole body - mind, body, emotions, and spirit. It also works incredibly well on children, pets, and plants and I encourage anyone coming for a session to bring their pet with them.

The benefits of Reiki is that it can alleviate physical pain, low energy, insomnia etc. but one doesn't need to be 'ill' to benefit from Reiki.

We know that everything is energy. Our bodies and our environments are all energy happily oscillating away at their own frequencies. But, sometimes we lose our optimum frequency. Modern life with it's stresses and anxiety, social media and doom scrolling, balancing life in general with the speed at which the world turns can all take its toll and Reiki balances and harmonises the body’s various systems helping you get back into sync, or helping you heal from physical ailments.

Reiki can help reduce stress, anxiety, and pain as it supports the body's natural healing processes and enhances mental clarity.

tarot and divination

All forms of divination are oracles.

What they all have in common is that they allow messages from the Divine (Divination) or the Universe, or one's Higher Self, or God/Goddess, or Spirit or whatever you prefer to come forward.

There are many, many, many  forms of oracles. Some are free form such as trancework, ribbons, tea leaves, oracle cards, clouds, water, smoke, wax, fire etc. that allow your mind to find meanings and symbols unique to yourself. And then there are oracles with a set system such as Tarot, Runes, Lenormand, Kipperkarten, I-Ching amongst others that all work within the set framework and rules of the specific modality.

My personal faourite is TAROT. I love it so much.

Tarot has been around for centuries and originally were along the lines of what became known as the Tarot de Marseilles type decks and then the Rider-Waite-Smith deck exploded onto the world in 1909. *

This type of deck is what I use. I have accumulated a stupid number of decks over the years, which I have subsequently given away as I only read with a few decks and they are what I return to again and again. I love reading tarot, I love talking about tarot, and I love teaching tarot.

What I especially love about tarot is that it can answer pretty much any question thrown at it. It has talked about how an idea may land at work, it has described what a garden renovation needed, it has explained why a person has been chronically unlucky with relationships (and nothing to do with loving yourself first nonsense), it has weighed up pro's and con's when someone has had decisions to make and It has explained approaches to interviews amongst many other questions.  It's also quite chatty too when you just want a conversation.

Meditation

Meditation is brilliant. It can energise you or calm you down depending on what you need.

I came to meditation 25 years ago when I got sick of being in constant car accidents and my cars always having dinks and scrapes all over them. I needed grounding. Meditation worked, and I am now generally accident free and the occasional ones I have had have not been my fault.

There are many types of meditations such as guided, mantra, breathwork, chanting, and stamping and I use all of these.
